1. Favorite superhero (any will do)?

How ironic that I should be asked this!  A little while back I had wanted to start watching some superhero movies because I hadn't really watched any before... *gasp*.  So I've been getting into them a lot lately.  I love Captain America.  There's no comparison between any other hero.  I just went to see the Winter Soldier twice... it is amazing!
2. What color socks are you wearing right now?

Bright pink.  I'm actually wearing short combat boots today so you can't actually see the socks.
3. If I were to visit you for the afternoon, what would you plan on doing?

I would most likely play four square (a new fav) watch a few movies and maybe go for a walk.  Who knows?
4. Best pizza topping?

Definitely sausage!  I only like plain, pepperoni, sausage, and Canadian bacon.
5. Can you introduce us to your family in less than three sentences?

I have a very spiritual and talkative dad, a fun mom, a somewhat annoying somewhat funny little brother, and a very cute, spoiled dog.  We are all Christians but we all have very different personalities.
6. If you could be proficient (as Lady Catherine says) in any instrument, what would it be?

It would have to be piano.  I play it but I am not "proficient" at all.  I think that it would sound so beautiful if I were able to play complicated songs.
7. Five favorite Disney songs off the top your head. Go!

I actually don't like soup.  The idea of something so hot sounds good, but I don't like it.  Do spaghetti O's count?
10. Which fictional hero/heroine would you want as a sibling?

I wish Peeta Mellark was my brother.  If you have read the Hunger Games, you understand.  Wouldn't he be the most amazing older brother?!
11. Peter Pan or Alice in Wonderland?

It's funny that this is a question, because I've been in both of these plays.  I liked being in Alice and Wonderland much better, but I hate the story so I would have to say Peter Pan.

1. Do you prefer cats or dogs?

     Dogs.  I have a rat terrier.  I like dogs better, but they can be a lot of work, yet they're so worth it!

2. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

     No doubt about it, I am an introvert.  I refuel myself in my time alone.  However, I do enjoy the company of family or a few close friends.  I prefer small groups to large groups.

3. What's your favorite dessert?

     Brownie Cheesecake with chocolate syrup, my Mom's homemade!

4. When is your birthday?

May 3, 1999

5. Do you like your birth date, it's season, position in the month, what grade it puts you in for school, etc.?

     I love my birth date!  It's at the time of year where the weather is just perfect.  I think it's nice to have one of the later possible birthdays for my grade, but yet, it's no too late.:)

6. What's your favorite book series?

     The Betsy-Tacy series.  I have read some of the books five times.  It was written in the 40's and is based on the early 1900's.  It follows Betsy from 5 years of age to marriage.  The books increase in reading level as Betsy increases in age.

7. Do you like or dislike Jane Austen books?

     I like them, but they are very long.  I especially enjoy the movies.

8. Would you rather live in the past or the future?

     Past by far!  Life was a lot simpler then and people were more hospitable.  I don't think I would mind wearing dresses either.;)

9. Do you enjoy sewing?

      I don't like to follow patterns, but I do enjoy making my own original creations.

10. What's your favorite color?

    I just have to say hot pink.

     I read a book about becoming a better writer, and they suggested blogging as a good way to improve...and here I am!
2. Do you like head phones or ear buds better?
     Defiantly ear buds.  Although, I used to not be able to wear them 'cause they wouldn't stay in my ears.
3. Do you play an instrument?
     Piano for 8 years baby!
4. Are you learning a foreign language?
     Yep!  Spanish!  Si Senor!  That's all I got right now... sheepish grin
5. Do you enjoy math?
     ahem... (no)

     ummm... my computer screen... hehe

     Typically a cup.  Interesting question.

     Right now only a prayer journal.  I'm one of those people who writes in it three times, and then six months later, writes in it again.;)

     Sunglasses, yes.  Glasses (which I don't actually wear), no.  Because I like everything I wear to match.  I know, I know.

11. Would you make a paper mache hot air balloon?

      If you cornered me, put a gun to my head, and said in a Darth Vader voice "Make a paper mache hot air balloon."  I might consider it...;)  Random, I know:)

1.  What made you decide to start blogging? 

I read a book about becoming a better writer, and they suggested to write on a blog.

2.  What is your fashion style?

I would say classy modern

3.  What is something none of your followers know about you?

I live in a town of 2,800 people...pretty small

4.  What are some of your blogging goals?

To glorify God, to become a better writer, to get 25 followers before September, and to be awarded the legendary Leibster Blog Award (just remember that);)

5.  Where is your favorite place to shop?

I really like to shop at consignment stores, thrift stores, garage sales, and non-profit stores.  Other than that some of my favorites would be Bergners, Aeropostale, and Claire's.  I can't pick one.;)

6.  What would your ideal amount of blog followers be?

I would love to have 200, but it will be a little while I think.;)

7.  What are your talents?

piano, school, writing, taking care of kids, creativity, acting, public speaking

8.  Are you a leader or a follower?

I would call myself a leader.  Although, when I am with a group I don't feel comfortable with, I tend to shrink back.  

9.  What is one of your favorite quotes?

I have so many things to work on, and so many ways that I fail. But that's what grace is all about. and I constantly wake up every morning trying to get better, trying to improve, trying to walk closer to God. -Tim Tebow

I would have to say the Betsy-Tacy series is my favorite.  It was written mostly in the fortys, but the story is about the early 1900's.  It follows Betsy from the age of five, until she gets married.  I've read it over and over!:)

1) How would you describe your style?
Hmmm... a creative modern maybe?  Really hard to describe.
2) What are your wardrobe staples?
JEANS!  In the summer, jean shorts.  I also like belts, and boots.
3) Most expensive clothing item you own?
My North Face jacket.  I LOVE it!
4) Most wanted item?
colored shorts or UGG boots
5) Favorite designer?
Aeropostle maybe... I like lots of different ones.
6)How much do you spend on clothing?
A very low amount, it varies from month to month.  We're bargain hunters!

1. Do you have any exciting plans for the summer?
Right now I'm actually on vacation.  I am staying with my grandparents who live in another state.  They also live on a lake which is a plus. :)
I will be coming back up with my family later in the summer (just me and my grandparents right now!).  I will also be going to theater camp.
2. Are you done with school yet?
I am done with school for the summer.
3. Describe yourself in 3 words.
loyal, caring, helpless (without God's grace) :)
4. How tall are you?
I think I am 5'4"
5. Do you play an instrument?
Yes, I play piano.
6. What is your favorite store?
I don't know for sure, but it might be Bergners, Claire's, or Aeropostale.

Wow!  I think currently it might be "More Beautiful You" by Johnny Diaz.

Yes, one.  A younger brother.

I really like reading.

I want to have a job that I really enjoy, and then get married and have children.  Possibly a ministry I could carry on after marriage and motherhood.

1.  If you could have a flower pen name like we have on our blog Violets and Daisies, what would it be?
That would be hard, but I think it has to be Rose.  I know, I know, it's so common, yet, so beautiful! :)

2. What is your favorite ever Bible verse and why?

Romans 8:28 "All things work together for good to them that love God, those who have been called in keeping with His purpose."

4.  If you and your friends could visit any country in the world, where would you go?
I think I would go to Isreal.  I could go see every place the Bible talked about and it would be so AMAZING!
5.  If you have one feel free to share your testimony as to how you became a Christian.
I was four years old.  One night after devotions I asked my Dad if he would help me become a Christian.  I don"t know the specific date.
Ever since coming to my current church, I have really grown in my faith and have had a better understanding.
