Hey all!  I want to say that I'm sorry about not posting the next installment for BeYOUtiful.  If you have not noticed, I have not been posting as much or as well as I should as of late.  I want to apologize, but I do want to make the statement that this blog is not the most important thing in my life, *shocker!*;).  It has been a case of laziness that has prevented me from posting, but also, a story that I am writing on FanFiction.  It has been taking time to do and to be frank is a little more enjoyable right now.
In other words I'm taking a leave of absence until further notice.  It shouldn't be long and I'll be trying to plan the blog party a little in that time.  So this is just a heads up on my blogging vacation.

     Hello All!  Aren't you just absolutely pumped for the kickoff of BeYOUtiful tomorrow?  I know I am.
     You may be wondering about the title of this post.  That's what I'm going to tell you about.  I am giving up my free designing buisiness. I had enough customers, but it got to be a lot of work, and I wasn't really satisfied with some of the designs I did.  Blogger can be a true nightmare when it comes to template design.  Ugh!
     I love the design I have now, but I saw that Melody of Melow Blog Designs was offering a free blog design through the 17th.  I was SO excited!  She does a fantastic job and makes such professional designs.  I just had to turn the old one in.  I'm really sorry if this is getting annoying.  4 blog designs in UNDER A YEAR!  Sorry!  But it's fun to have a change to:)
     If you were considering getting a design from me, I would go to Melody now because this is a PHENOMINAL deal!!!

Voting and Things in the Works

     Hello everyone!  I just wanted you all to know that I'm still here, just being really lazy about posting;).  I wanted to remind all of my lovely readers to not forget to vote for a winner of the Serenity Runway Fashion Show.  A poll should pop up if you come on my blog...like you are right now:).
     I just wanted to tell you that part of the reason I am not posting as much, is because I am working on a new blog series that I am so excited about, and I hope you will be too!  It will be coming out of the wraps on February 1, the last day of fashion show voting, if all goes as planned.

     My blog redo is all done!  I have some ideas for upcoming posts, but I would like to hear what your thoughts are.  Also, comment and tell me what your favorite kind of post (that I do) is.  I'm still waiting for enough entrants for the fashion show please consider entering!  I will be forming a post schedule too.
       But something I really wanted to say to my followers is thank you!  Because of your help I now have 47 followers (2 via Bloglovin and 2 private followers) in 121 days!!!!  You're so great!:)

Blog Redo... Again.

     I'm going to redo my blog again... I know, I know.  I just did it, but I think it's important to have good blog design on your own blog when you are designing others.  It's all part of the improvements on my blog I told you about.  So excuse the way it will look for a little bit.:)

Guest Posts and Snickerdoodle Muffins

     I'm looking for some people to do guest posts.  Anyone want to?  You can check out my Get Involved page to learn more.
     So, lauren has so far, been the only one to respond to my feedback post.  She requested more tutorials and recipes.  So... I have a recipe for you!-

Snickerdoodle Muffins

-1 cup butter, softened

-1 cup sugar

-2 tsp vanilla

-2 eggs

-2 1/4 cups flour

-3/4 tsp baking soda

-3/4 tsp baking powder

-3/4 tsp cream of tartar

-1/2 tsp salt

-1 cup sour cream

-1/4 cup buttermilk

-1/4-1/2 cup sugar

-1 Tbsp cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350*.  Prepare a muffin tin with liners.

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy.  Add the eggs and vanilla; stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients.  Add half the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture and stir to combine.  Add the sour cream and buttermilk.  Add the rest of the dry ingredients and stir until batter is smooth.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.  Using a scooper (a small ice cream scooper works best) and plop a glob in the cinnamon sugar.  Gently roll around in the sugar until covered.  Put the batter into the liners.  Then, sprinkle the leftover cinnamon sugar over the top of the muffins.  

Bake for 15-18 minutes.  The tops will be golden and crackled.

  She substituted 3/4 cup honey in place of the sugar in the muffin.  You can also use 2 1/4 cups of this gluten-free flour mix to make them gluten free.  She says they taste just the same.
